In my opinion a gay Republican is like an illiterate professor. I have watched the GOP bat down MANY pro-gay bills in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and to watch a homosexual stand up for that particular party turns my stomach. Thoughts?
Who REALLY talks about sex candidly? I do not think too many of us do! Let’s start so we can break down some of the things that make being a lesbian so hard to figure out!
This seems to be such a common theme among lesbians! Why is can we not have a difference of opinion and a different direction in life without someone getting hurt in the process? Do we not know when we begin to date someone that our goals differ GREATLY than the other person? Why, if we know their goals differ from our own so greatly, do we settle down with Ms Wrong in the first place?
My thoughts on this subject are simple: It is easy to float in and out of relationships because rarely do they feel valid when our own society will even consider them; and when we finally do meet someone that does not come from the usual pool from which we fish we cling to them and change our lives to better suit the other person’s needs. I am sure that a lot of people will disagree with this, but I feel those are our two malaise’s that plague our community.
You guys tell me how you feel about it. Do we change because it’s hard to meet others or do we float in and out of relationships because nothing ever seems so concrete?
